About the ASD Parent Support Group

Our meetings are specifically to network and meet with other parents of children on the Autism Spectrum.  The parents in our group come from all over Ventura County and are all dedicated to getting the best care and services for our children.  We share ideas, experiences, resources, and even a good laugh.

Attorney Kathy Greco will also be attending our meetings every other month for advice on specific problems with the school, regional center, and general advocacy questions.  The schedule, time, and location information is below.  Please join us!

Dr. Eric Sletten of Sletten Wellness in Ventura recently returned from the 2009 International Public Conference on Vaccines in Washington D.C.

A VACCINE SEMINAR will be given to review the highlights from the conference. (see attached flyer for more details) Vaccines are always a hot and controversial topic. With H1N1 in the mix, everyone wants to know what to do! As you very well know - Dr. Sletten WILL NOT TELL YOU TO VACCINATE OR NOT VACCINATE your child. I invite you to come and hear the discussion to help you make your own informed decision for your family. This seminar will replace the monthly SWAT team meeting and take place at the Ventura Chamber of Commerce to accommodate greater attendance. Yes, you may invite others, but please RSVP with the number attending.
