About the ASD Parent Support Group

Our meetings are specifically to network and meet with other parents of children on the Autism Spectrum.  The parents in our group come from all over Ventura County and are all dedicated to getting the best care and services for our children.  We share ideas, experiences, resources, and even a good laugh.

Attorney Kathy Greco will also be attending our meetings every other month for advice on specific problems with the school, regional center, and general advocacy questions.  The schedule, time, and location information is below.  Please join us!

AuTube: New Online Autism Discussion Site

The Dan Marino Foundation has launched a new web site, AuTube. The site takes advantage of the vastness of today's communication tools--from YouTube to Twitter to Podcasting to multi-media blogging--but also anchors itself solidly around single, pin-pointed autism-related topics.

Each month a new autism-related topic is presented, along with information from experts on the topic. Site members can then discuss the topic, recommend resources (such as web sites, books, films, and blogs), take a quick survey, and make recommendations for future topics. Support Group 2009-2010 Schedule


The ASD Parent Support Group schedule for 2009-2010 is now up!  We will continue to do our group at Rainbow Connection in Oxnard.  

Alternating between general discussion and support and having lawyer Kathy Greco attend meetings to answer questions around the legalities of IEP's, Services, and much more!
